Abstract

We observe the decays D^*_{s1}(2710)^+ \to D^*K $an d$ D^*_{sJ}(2860)^+ \to D^*K $an d m e a s u r e t h e i r b r an c hin g f r a c t i o n sr e l a t i v e t o t h e$ D K $f ina l s t a t e . W e a l soo b ser v e, in t h e$ D^*K $ma sss p ec t r u m, an e w b r o a d s t r u c t u r e a t ama sso f$ (3044 \pm 8_{stat} (^{+30}_{-5})_{syst})MeV/c^2 $ha v in g a w i d t h$ Γ=(239 \pm 35_{stat} (^{+46}_{-42})_{syst})MeV $. T oo b t ain t hi sr es u l tw e u se 470$ {\rm fb}^{-1} $o f d a t a r ecor d e d b y t h e B a B a r d e t ec t or a tt h e P E P I I a sy mm e t r i c - e n er g y$ e^+e^-$ storage rings at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center running at center-of-mass energies near 10.6 GeV.
