Abstract
In this article, we assign the , , , and to be the P-wave baryon states with , , , and , respectively, and study them with the QCD sum rules by introducing an explicit relative P-wave between the two quarks. The predictions support assigning the , , and to be the P-wave baryon states with , , and , respectively, where the two quarks are in relative P-wave; while the can be assigned to the P-wave baryon state with , where the two quarks are in relative S-wave.
