VLT/SPHERE exploration of the young multiplanetary system PDS70
D. Mesa, M. Keppler, F. Cantalloube +51
Context. PDS 70 is a young (5.4 Myr), nearby (~113 pc) star hosting a known transition disk with a large gap. Recent observations with SPHERE and NACO in the near-infrared (NIR) al…
First scattered light detection of a nearly edge-on transition disk around the T Tauri star RY Lup
M. Langlois, A. Pohl, A. -M. Lagrange +41
Transition disks are considered sites of ongoing planet formation, and their dust and gas distributions could be signposts of embedded planets. The transition disk around the T Tau…
Shadows and spirals in the protoplanetary disk HD 100453
M. Benisty, T. Stolker, A. Pohl +46
Understanding the diversity of planets requires to study the morphology and the physical conditions in the protoplanetary disks in which they form. We observed and spatially resolv…
Shadows cast on the transition disk of HD 135344B. Multiwavelength VLT/SPHERE polarimetric differential imaging
T. Stolker, C. Dominik, H. Avenhaus +35
The protoplanetary disk around the F-type star HD 135344B (SAO 206462) is in a transition stage and shows many intriguing structures both in scattered light and thermal (sub-)milli…
