Cosmogenic background simulations for the DARWIN observatory at different underground locations
M. Adrover, L. Althueser, B. Andrieu +180
Xenon dual-phase time projections chambers (TPCs) have proven to be a successful technology in studying physical phenomena that require low-background conditions. With 40t of liqui…
A Next-Generation Liquid Xenon Observatory for Dark Matter and Neutrino Physics
J. Aalbers, K. Abe, V. Aerne +591
The nature of dark matter and properties of neutrinos are among the most pressing issues in contemporary particle physics. The dual-phase xenon time-projection chamber is the leadi…
GPU-based optical simulation of the DARWIN detector
L. Althueser, B. Antunović, E. Aprile +77
Understanding propagation of scintillation light is critical for maximizing the discovery potential of next-generation liquid xenon detectors that use dual-phase time projection ch…
Sensitivity of the DARWIN observatory to the neutrinoless double beta decay of Xe
F. Agostini, S. E. M. Ahmed Maouloud, L. Althueser +92
The DARWIN observatory is a proposed next-generation experiment to search for particle dark matter and for the neutrinoless double beta decay of Xe. Out of its 50t tota…
