Abstract

This Letter reports a search for non standard model topquark resonances, $Z^{'}$ , decaying to $t t ˉ \to W^{+} b W^{-} b ˉ$ %\rightarrow qq'b qq' \bar{b} $, w h er e b o t h$ W $d ec a y t o q u a r k s . W ee x amin e t h e t o p - an t i t o pq u a r k in v a r ian t ma sss p ec t r u m f or t h e p r ese n ceo f na r r o w r eso nan t s t a t es . T h ese a r c h u ses a d a t a s am pl eo f$ \ppb $co l l i s i o n s a t a ce n t er o f ma sse n er g y o f 1.96 T e V co l l ec t e d b y t h e C D F I I d e t ec t or a tt h e F er mi l ab T e v a t r o n, w i t hanin t e g r a t e d l u min os i t y o f 2.8 f b$ ^{-1} $.
