Determinant Formulas for the Toda and Discrete Toda Equations
Kenji Kajiwara, Tetsu Masuda, Masatoshi Noumi +2
Determinant formulas for the general solutions of the Toda and discrete Toda equations are presented. Application to the functions for the Painlevé equations is also discussed.

On the Umemura Polynomials for the Painlevé III equation
K. Kajiwara, T. Masuda
A determinant expression for the rational solutions of the Painlevé III (P) equation whose entries are the Laguerre polynomials is given. Degeneration of this determina…

A generalization of determinant formulas for the solutions of Painlevé II and XXXIV equations
K. Kajiwara, T. Masuda
A generalization of determinant formulas for the classical solutions of Painlevé XXXIV and Painlevé II equations are constructed using the technique of Darboux transformation and H…
