Deformed neutron stars

J. T. Quartuccio, P. H. R. S. Moraes, J. D. V. Arbañil

We present solutions for non-spherically symmetric neutron stars. We begin by deriving the Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkoff equations from a parameterized metric that takes into account…

Energy conditions in the $f (R, L, T)$ theory of gravity

Simran Arora, P. H. R. S. Moraes, P. K. Sahoo

We construct the energy conditions for the recently proposed $f (R, L, T)$ gravity theory, for which $f$ is a generic function of the Ricci scalar $R$ , matter lagrangian density $L$ a…

Inflation in $f (R, T)$ Gravity

Snehasish Bhattacharjee, J. R. L. Santos, P. H. R. S. Moraes +1

The article presents modeling of inflationary scenarios for the first time in the $f (R, T)$ theory of gravity. We assume the $f (R, T)$ functional from to be $R + η T$ , where $R$ denot…

$f (R, T) = f (R) + λ T$ gravity models as alternatives to cosmic acceleration

P. K. Sahoo, P. H. R. S. Moraes, Parbati Sahoo +1

This article presents cosmological models that arise in a subclass of $f (R, T) = f (R) + f (T)$ gravity models, with different $f (R)$ functions and fixed $T$ -dependence. That is, the grav…

Wormholes in $R^{2}$ -gravity within the $f (R, T)$ formalism

P. K. Sahoo, P. H. R. S. Moraes, Parbati Sahoo

We propose, as a novelty in the literature, the modelling of wormholes within the particular case of the $f (R, T)$ gravity, namely $f (R, T) = R + α R^{2} + λ T$ , with $R$ and $T$ being the R…
