Federated Deep Reinforcement Learning-Based Intelligent Channel Access in Dense Wi-Fi Deployments
Xinyang Du, Xuming Fang, Rong He +3
The IEEE 802.11 MAC layer utilizes the Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Avoidance (CSMA/CA) mechanism for channel contention, but dense Wi-Fi deployments often cause hi…
Deep Diffusion Deterministic Policy Gradient based Performance Optimization for Wi-Fi Networks
Tie Liu, Xuming Fang, Rong He
Generative Diffusion Models (GDMs), have made significant strides in modeling complex data distributions across diverse domains. Meanwhile, Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) has de…
IEEE 802.11ay based mmWave WLANs: Design Challenges and Solutions
Pei Zhou, Kaijun Cheng, Xiao Han +5
Millimeter-wave (mmWave) with large spectrum available is considered as the most promising frequency band for future wireless communications. The IEEE 802.11ad and IEEE 802.11ay op…
Enhanced Random Access and Beam Training for mmWave Wireless Local Networks with High User Density
Pei Zhou, Xuming Fang, Yuguang Fang +3
As low frequency band becomes more and more crowded, millimeter-wave (mmWave) has attracted significant attention recently. IEEE has released the 802.11ad standard to satisfy the d…
