Operation and performance of the CMS silicon strip tracker with proton-proton collisions at the CERN LHC
CMS Collaboration
Salient aspects of the commissioning, calibration, and performance of the CMS silicon strip tracker are discussed, drawing on experience during operation with proton-proton collisi…
The Pixel Luminosity Telescope: A detector for luminosity measurement at CMS using silicon pixel sensors
Paul Lujan
The Pixel Luminosity Telescope is a silicon pixel detector dedicated to luminosity measurement at the CMS experiment at the LHC. It is located approximately 1.75 m from the interac…
Measurements with silicon photomultipliers of dose-rate effects in the radiation damage of plastic scintillator tiles in the CMS hadron endcap calorimeter
CMS Collaboration
Measurements are presented of the reduction of signal output due to radiation damage for plastic scintillator tiles used in the hadron endcap (HE) calorimeter of the CMS detector.…
Performance of the reconstruction and identification of high-momentum muons in proton-proton collisions at 13 TeV
CMS Collaboration
The CMS detector at the LHC has recorded events from proton-proton collisions, with muon momenta reaching up to 1.8 TeV in the collected dimuon samples. These high-momentum muons a…
