TCAD Simulation of Stitching for Passive CMOS Strip Detectors
Marta Baselga, Jan Hendrik Arling, Naomi Davis +15
Most of the tracking detectors for high energy particle experiments are filled with silicon detectors since they are radiation hard, they can give very small spatial resolution and…
Threshold bounce -- occupancy-dependent modulation of the discriminating threshold in silicon detectors
M. J. Basso, E. Buchanan, B. J. Gallop +8
The front-end electronics of silicon detectors are typically designed to ensure optimal noise performance for the expected input charge. A combination of preamplifiers and shaper c…
Characterisation and simulation of stitched CMOS strip sensors
Naomi Davis, Jan-Hendrik Arling, Marta Baselga +20
In high-energy physics, there is a need to investigate alternative silicon sensor concepts that offer cost-efficient, large-area coverage. Sensors based on CMOS imaging technology…
Characterizing Novel Indium Phosphide Pad Detectors with Focused X-ray Beams and Laboratory Tests
Earl Almazan, Anthony Affolder, Ian Dyckes +12
Future tracking systems in High Energy Physics experiments will require large instrumented areas with low radiation length. Crystalline silicon sensors have been used in tracking s…
