The Murchison Widefield Array Commissioning Survey: A Low-Frequency Catalogue of 14,110 Compact Radio Sources over 6,100 Square Degrees
Natasha Hurley-Walker, John Morgan, Randall B. Wayth +49
We present the results of an approximately 6,100 square degree 104--196MHz radio sky survey performed with the Murchison Widefield Array during instrument commissioning between 201…
Study of Redshifted HI from the Epoch of Reionization with Drift scan
Sourabh Paul, Shiv K. Sethi, Ravi Subrahmanyan +37
The detection of the Epoch of Reionization (EoR) in the redshifted 21-cm line is a challenging task. Here we formulate the detection of the EoR signal using the drift scan strategy…
WSClean: an implementation of a fast, generic wide-field imager for radio astronomy
A. R. Offringa, B. McKinley, N. Hurley-Walker +50
Astronomical widefield imaging of interferometric radio data is computationally expensive, especially for the large data volumes created by modern non-coplanar many-element arrays.…
Observing the Sun with the Murchison Widefield Array
D. Oberoi, R. Sharma, S. Bhatnagar +42
The Sun has remained a difficult source to image for radio telescopes, especially at the low radio frequencies. Its morphologically complex emission features span a large range of…
