Learning Face Representation from Scratch
Dong Yi, Zhen Lei, Shengcai Liao +1
Pushing by big data and deep convolutional neural network (CNN), the performance of face recognition is becoming comparable to human. Using private large scale training datasets, s…
Learn Convolutional Neural Network for Face Anti-Spoofing
Jianwei Yang, Zhen Lei, Stan Z. Li
Though having achieved some progresses, the hand-crafted texture features, e.g., LBP [23], LBP-TOP [11] are still unable to capture the most discriminative cues between genuine and…
Deep Metric Learning for Practical Person Re-Identification
Dong Yi, Zhen Lei, Stan Z. Li
Various hand-crafted features and metric learning methods prevail in the field of person re-identification. Compared to these methods, this paper proposes a more general way that c…
Aggregate channel features for multi-view face detection
Bin Yang, Junjie Yan, Zhen Lei +1
Face detection has drawn much attention in recent decades since the seminal work by Viola and Jones. While many subsequences have improved the work with more powerful learning algo…
Shared Representation Learning for Heterogeneous Face Recognition
Dong Yi, Zhen Lei, Shengcai Liao +1
After intensive research, heterogenous face recognition is still a challenging problem. The main difficulties are owing to the complex relationship between heterogenous face image…
