Time and Amplitude of Afterpulse Measured with a Large Size Photomultiplier Tube
K. J. Ma, W. G. Kang, J. K. Ahn +21
We have studied the afterpulse of a hemispherical photomultiplier tube for an upcoming reactor neutrino experiment. The timing, the amplitude, and the rate of the afterpulse for a…
Search for Astrophysical Neutrino Point Sources at Super-Kamiokande
E. Thrane
It has been hypothesized that large fluxes of neutrinos may be created in astrophysical "cosmic accelerators." The primary background for a search for astrophysical neutrinos comes…
Search for Neutrinos from GRB 080319B at Super-Kamiokande
Kamiokande Collaboration, E. Thrane
We perform a search for neutrinos coincident with GRB 080319B, the brightest GRB observed to date, in a +/- 1,000 s window. No statistically significant coincidences were observed…
Search for Proton Decay via p -> e^+ pi^0 and p -> mu^+ pi^0 in a Large Water Cherenkov Detector
Kamiokande Collaboration, H. Nishino, S. Clark
We have searched for proton decays via p -> e^+ pi^0 and p -> mu^+ pi^0 using data from a 91.7 kiloton year exposure of Super-Kamiokande-I and a 49.2 kiloton year exposure of Super…
