Discovery of 30 Repeating Fast Radio Burst Sources and Uniform Population Statistics of 80 Repeating Sources from CHIME/FRB
Amanda M. Cook, Kaitlyn Shin, Ziggy Pleunis +44
We present 30 newly discovered repeating fast radio burst (FRB) sources from the second catalog of bursts detected by the FRB backend on the Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Exp…
Constraining the mass of the M31 ionized baryon Halo using CHIME/FRB Catalog 2
Lordrick A. Kahinga, J. Xavier Prochaska, Sunil Simha +21
The circumgalactic medium (CGM) surrounding galaxies is believed to be a significant reservoir of baryons, yet its total mass remains poorly constrained. We present a novel approac…
A broadband thermal emission spectrum of the ultra-hot Jupiter WASP-18b
Louis-Philippe Coulombe, Björn Benneke, Ryan Challener +73
Close-in giant exoplanets with temperatures greater than 2,000 K (''ultra-hot Jupiters'') have been the subject of extensive efforts to determine their atmospheric properties using…
A multiwavelength study of the ultracompact HII region associated with IRAS 20178+4046
A. Tej, S. K. Ghosh, V. K. Kulkarni +3
We present a multiwavelength study of the ultra compact HII region associated with IRAS 20178+4046. This enables us to probe the different components associated with this massive s…
