The XMM-Newton wide-field survey in the COSMOS field. IV: X-ray spectral properties of Active Galactic Nuclei
V. Mainieri, G. Hasinger, N. Cappelluti +25
We present a detailed spectral analysis of point-like X-ray sources in the XMM-COSMOS field. Our sample of 135 sources only includes those that have more than 100 net counts in the…
X-ray spectral properties of AGN in the Chandra Deep Field South
P. Tozzi, R. Gilli, V. Mainieri +12
We present a detailed X-ray spectral analysis of the sources in the 1Ms catalog of the Chandra Deep Field South (CDFS) taking advantage of optical spectroscopy and photometric reds…
AGN and Galaxy evolution from Deep X-ray surveys
P. Tozzi, R. Gilli, the CDFS Team
Deep X-ray surveys are providing crucial information on the evolution of AGN and galaxies. We review some of the latest results based on the X-ray spectral analysis of the sources…
Low radiative efficiency accretion at work in active galactic nuclei: the nuclear spectral energy distribution of NGC4565
M. Chiaberge, R. Gilli, F. D. Macchetto +1
We derive the spectral energy distribution (SED) of the nucleus of the Seyfert galaxy NGC4565. Despite its classification as a Seyfert2, the nuclear source is substantially unabsor…
