Pixel column issue in the ATLAS Inner Tracker modules
L. Meng, R. Bates, C. Buttar +23
Pixel modules are currently being built for the ATLAS ITk Pixel detector upgrade. During the preproduction phase, recurring chip malfunctioning was observed during electrical testi…
Beam-induced backgrounds measured in the ATLAS detector during local gas injection into the LHC beam vacuum
ATLAS Collaboration
Inelastic beam-gas collisions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), within a few hundred metres of the ATLAS experiment, are known to give the dominant contribution to beam backgroun…
Improving topological cluster reconstruction using calorimeter cell timing in ATLAS
ATLAS Collaboration
Clusters of topologically connected calorimeter cells around cells with large absolute signal-to-noise ratio (topo-clusters) are the basis for calorimeter signal reconstruction in…
The ATLAS Experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider: A Description of the Detector Configuration for Run 3
ATLAS Collaboration
The ATLAS detector is installed in its experimental cavern at Point 1 of the CERN Large Hadron Collider. During Run 2 of the LHC, a luminosity of $\mathcal{L}=2\times 10^{34}\mathr…
