Young Stellar Object Variability (YSOVAR): Long Timescale Variations in the Mid-Infrared
L. M. Rebull, A. M. Cody, K. R. Covey +32
The YSOVAR (Young Stellar Object VARiability) Spitzer Space Telescope observing program obtained the first extensive mid-infrared (3.6 & 4.5 um) time-series photometry of the Orion…
YSOVAR: Mid-IR variability in the star forming region Lynds 1688
H. M. Günther, A. M. Cody, K. R. Covey +14
The emission from young stellar objects (YSOs) in the mid-IR is dominated by the inner rim of their circumstellar disks. We present an IR-monitoring survey of about 800 objects in…
The Spatial Distribution of Star Formation in the Solar Neighbourhood: Do all stars form in clusters?
E. Bressert, N. Bastian, R. Gutermuth +12
We present a global study of low mass, young stellar object (YSO) surface densities in nearby (< 500 pc) star forming regions based on a comprehensive collection of Spitzer Space T…
A Spitzer Survey of Young Stellar Clusters within One Kiloparsec of the Sun: Cluster Core Extraction and Basic Structural Analysis
R. A. Gutermuth, S. T. Megeath, P. C. Myers +3
We present a uniform mid-infrared imaging and photometric survey of 36 young, nearby, star-forming clusters and groups using {\it Spitzer} IRAC and MIPS. We have confidently identi…
