Beam-energy dependence of correlations between mean transverse momentum and anisotropic flow of charged particles in Au+Au collisions at RHIC
The STAR Collaboration
The correlation between the mean transverse momentum, , and the squared anisotropic flow, , on an event-by-event basis has been suggested to be influen…
Light Nuclei Femtoscopy and Baryon Interactions in 3 GeV Au+Au Collisions at RHIC
The STAR Collaboration
We report the measurements of proton-deuteron (-) and deuteron-deuteron (-) correlation functions in Au+Au collisions at = 3 GeV using fixed-targ…
Tracking the baryon number with nuclear collisions
STAR Collaboration
Baryon quantum number is believed to be conserved since baryogenesis in the early Universe. While fractionally charged valence quarks are understood conventionally to each carry a…
The STAR Forward Silicon Tracker
J. D. Brandenburg, Y. Chang, J. Dong +21
The Forward Silicon Tracker (FST) is a pivotal component of the forward upgrade of the Solenoidal Tracker at RHIC (STAR), designed to discern hadron charge signs with a momentum re…
Imaging Shapes of Atomic Nuclei in High-Energy Nuclear Collisions
STAR Collaboration
Atomic nuclei are self-organized, many-body quantum systems bound by strong nuclear forces within femtometer-scale space. These complex systems manifest a variety of shapes, tradit…
