Evaluation of a Full Field Fluorescence Imager with Synchrotron Radiation
Piotr Maj, Grzegorz W. Deptuch, Dominik S. Gorni +10
The design and evaluation on the NSLS-II beamline of the 3FI application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) bump-bonded to a simply, planar, two-dimensionally segmented silicon sen…
A Virtual Frisch-Grid Geometry-Based CZT Gamma Detector for In-Field Radioisotope Identification
Piotr Maj, Giovanni Pinaroli, Aleksey Bolotnikov +7
We present a Virtual Frisch-Grid geometry-based CZT gamma detector developed for identifying different radioisotopes over an energy range from single keV up to 2 MeV, and useful fo…
An Integer-N Frequency Synthesizer for Flexible On-Chip Clock Generation
Soumyajit Mandal, Piotr Maj, Grzegorz W. Deptuch
A low-power integer-N frequency synthesizer for flexible on-chip clock generation has been designed in 65 nm CMOS technology. The circuit can be programmed to generate two independ…
Automated and Holistic Co-design of Neural Networks and ASICs for Enabling In-Pixel Intelligence
Shubha R. Kharel, Prashansa Mukim, Piotr Maj +4
Extreme edge-AI systems, such as those in readout ASICs for radiation detection, must operate under stringent hardware constraints such as micron-level dimensions, sub-milliwatt po…
