The Galaxy Activity, Torus, and Outflow Survey (GATOS). VII. The 20-214 m imaging atlas of active galactic nuclei using SOFIA
Lindsay Fuller, Enrique Lopez-Rodriguez, Ismael Garcia-Bernete +24
We present a 19.7 - 214 m imaging atlas of local (4 - 181 Mpc; median 43 Mpc) active galactic nuclei (AGN) observed with FORCAST and HAWC+ on board the SOFIA telescope with angu…
Comparisons Between Resolved Star Formation Rate and Gas Tracers in the Strongly Lensed Galaxy SDSS J0901+1814 at Cosmic Noon
Qingxiang Chen, Chelsea E. Sharon, Hiddo S. Algera +10
We report new radio observations of SDSS J090122.37+181432.3, a strongly lensed star-forming galaxy at . We image 1.4 GHz (L-band) and 3 GHz (S-band) continuum using the VL…
GATOS: missing molecular gas in the outflow of NGC5728 revealed by JWST
R. Davies, T. Shimizu, M. Pereira-Santaella +49
The ionisation cones of NGC5728 have a deficit of molecular gas based on millimetre observations of CO(2-1) emission. Although photoionisation from the active nucleus may lead to s…
Deciphering the imprint of AGN feedback in Seyfert galaxies: Nuclear-scale molecular gas deficits
S. García-Burillo, E. K. S. Hicks, A. Alonso-Herrero +26
We use a sample of 64 nearby (D=7-45 Mpc) disk galaxies including 45 AGN and 19 non-AGN, that have high spatial resolution multiline CO observations obtained with the ALMA and/or P…
