High-Slip-Ratio Control for Peak Tire-Road Friction Estimation Using Automated Vehicles
Zhaohui Liang, Hang Zhou, Heye Huanh +1
Accurate estimation of the tire-road friction coefficient (TRFC) is critical for ensuring safe vehicle control, especially under adverse road conditions. However, most existing met…
Robustness and Resilience Evaluation of Eco-Driving Strategies at Signalized Intersections
Zhaohui Liang, Chengyuan Ma, Keke Long +1
Eco-driving strategies have demonstrated substantial potential for improving energy efficiency and reducing emissions, especially at signalized intersections. However, evaluations…
Towards Full-Scenario Safety Evaluation of Automated Vehicles: A Volume-Based Method
Hang Zhou, Chengyuan Ma, Shiyu Shen +2
With the rapid development of automated vehicles (AVs) in recent years, commercially available AVs are increasingly demonstrating high-level automation capabilities. However, most…
An Advanced Microscopic Energy Consumption Model for Automated Vehicle:Development, Calibration, Verification
Ke Ma, Zhaohui Liang, Hang Zhou +1
The automated vehicle (AV) equipped with the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system is expected to reduce the fuel consumption for the intelligent transportation system. This paper p…
