A Detailed Study of the Physical and Orbital Characteristics, and Eclipse Timing Variations of the Post Common Envelope Binary DD CrB
Özgür Baştürk, Ezgi Sertkan, Furkan Akar +10
We present an in-depth analysis of the eclipsing binary DD CrB, composed of a B-type subdwarf primary and an M-type main-sequence secondary, with the main goal of investigating its…
Chasing the Tides: Searching for Orbital Decay Signatures in Transit Timing Data and Tidal Models for 20 Hot Jupiters
A. C. Kutluay, Ö. Baştürk, Adrian J. Barker +31
In this work, we present a transit timing variation analysis for 20 hot Jupiter systems, which we interpret with theoretical tidal dissipation models. For the majority of the sampl…
TOI-1743 b, TOI-5799 b, TOI-5799 c and TOI-6223 b: TESS discovery and validation of four super-Earth to Neptune-sized planets around M dwarfs
S. Yalçınkaya, K. Barkaoui, Ö. Baştürk +62
We present the discovery by the TESS mission of one transiting Neptune-sized planet, TOI-6223 b and two transiting super-Earths, TOI-1743 b and TOI-5799 b. We validate these planet…
Looking For Timing Variations in the Transits of 16 Exoplanets
S. Yalçınkaya, E. M. Esmer, Ö. Baştürk +27
We update the ephemerides of 16 transiting exoplanets using our ground-based observations, new TESS data, and previously published observations including those of amateur astronome…
