The Distribution of Atomic Hydrogen in the Host Galaxies of FRBs
Hugh Roxburgh, Marcin Glowacki, Clancy W. James +14
We probe the atomic hydrogen (HI) emission from the host galaxies of fast radio bursts (FRBs) to investigate the emerging trend of disturbance and asymmetry in the population. Quad…
Low redshift post-starburst galaxies host abundant HI reservoirs
Sara L. Ellison, Qifeng Huang, Dong Yang +8
Studying the gas content of post-starburst (PSB) galaxies can provide valuable clues regarding the process of fast quenching. Although previous works have studied the molecular gas…
FEASTS Combined with Interferometry (IV): Mapping HI Emission to a limit of in Seven Edge-on Galaxies
Dong Yang, Jing Wang, Zhijie Qu +17
We present a statistical study of the neutral atomic hydrogen (HI) gas extending into the circumgalactic medium perpendicular to the disk for 7 edge-on galaxies with inclinations a…
FEASTS: The Fate of Gas and Star Formation in Interacting Galaxies
Shun Wang, Jing Wang, Karen Lee-Waddell +3
We use HI data from the FAST Extended Atlas of Selected Targets Survey (FEASTS) to study the interplay between gas and star formation of galaxies in interacting systems. We build c…
