SKYSURF VIII -- Modeling SKYSURF Completeness Data for Comparison to the Hubble Space Telescope Exposure Time Calculator
Zachary Goisman, Timothy Carleton, Seth H. Cohen +4
Accurately assessing image source completeness is critical for interpreting measurements on telescope data. Using the Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3) and Advanced Camera for Surveys (AC…
SKYSURF. X. A Novel Method for Measuring Integrated Galaxy Light
Delondrae D. Carter, Timothy Carleton, Daniel J. Henningsen +19
We describe the drizzling pipeline and contents of the drizzled database for Hubble Space Telescope Cycle 27-29 Archival Legacy project "SKYSURF," the largest archival project ever…
Robust Joint Estimation of Galaxy Redshift and Spectral Templates using Online Dictionary Learning
Sean Bryan, Ayan Barekzai, Delondrae Carter +5
We present a novel approach to analyzing astronomical spectral survey data using our non-linear extension of an online dictionary learning algorithm. Current and upcoming surveys s…
SKYSURF-4: Panchromatic HST All-Sky Surface-Brightness Measurement Methods and Results
Rosalia O'Brien, Timothy Carleton, Rogier A. Windhorst +22
The diffuse, unresolved sky provides most of the photons that the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) receives, yet remains poorly understood. HST Archival Legacy program SKYSURF aims to…
