Supernovae Ia, high-redshift probes, and the Hubble tension: current status and future perspectives
Maria Giovanna Dainotti, Biagio De Simone
The Hubble constant () tension is one of the biggest challenges in modern cosmology. This consists of the discrepancy, at around , between the local value of measure…
On the evolution of the Hubble constant with the SNe Ia Pantheon Sample and Baryon Acoustic Oscillations: a feasibility study for GRB-cosmology in 2030
Maria Giovanna Dainotti, Biagio De Simone, Tiziano Schiavone +5
The difference from 4 to 6 in the Hubble constant () between the values observed with the local (Cepheids and Supernovae Ia, SNe Ia) and the high-z probes (CMB obtained by…
Closure relations during the plateau emission of Swift GRBs and the fundamental plane
M. G. Dainotti, A. Ł. Lenart, N. Fraija +5
The Neil Gehrels Swift observatory observe Gamma-Ray bursts (GRBs) plateaus in X-rays. We test the reliability of the closure relations through the fireball model when dealing with…
On the Hubble constant tension in the SNe Ia Pantheon sample
Maria Giovanna Dainotti, Biagio De Simone, Tiziano Schiavone +3
The Hubble constant () tension between Type Ia Supernovae (SNe Ia) and Planck measurements ranges from 4 to 6 . To investigate this tension, we estimate in the C…
