First direct neutrino-mass measurement with sub-eV sensitivity
M. Aker, A. Beglarian, J. Behrens +125
We report the results of the second measurement campaign of the Karlsruhe Tritium Neutrino (KATRIN) experiment. KATRIN probes the effective electron anti-neutrino mass, , via…
Precision measurement of the electron energy-loss function in tritium and deuterium gas for the KATRIN experiment
M. Aker, A. Beglarian, J. Behrens +132
The KATRIN experiment is designed for a direct and model-independent determination of the effective electron anti-neutrino mass via a high-precision measurement of the tritium -…
The Design, Construction, and Commissioning of the KATRIN Experiment
M. Aker, K. Altenmüller, J. F. Amsbaugh +226
The KArlsruhe TRItium Neutrino (KATRIN) experiment, which aims to make a direct and model-independent determination of the absolute neutrino mass scale, is a complex experiment wit…
Analysis methods for the first KATRIN neutrino-mass measurement
M. Aker, K. Altenmüller, A. Beglarian +126
We report on the data set, data handling, and detailed analysis techniques of the first neutrino-mass measurement by the Karlsruhe Tritium Neutrino (KATRIN) experiment, which probe…
