Cosmogenic Backgrounds to 0νββ in EXO-200
200 Collaboration, J. B. Albert, D. J. Auty +84
As neutrinoless double-beta decay experiments become more sensitive and intrinsic radioactivity in detector materials is reduced, previously minor contributions to the background m…
Search for decay of Xe to the 0 excited state of Ba with EXO-200
200 Collaboration, J. B. Albert, D. J. Auty +88
EXO-200 is a single phase liquid xenon detector designed to search for neutrinoless double-beta decay of Xe to the ground state of Ba. We report here on a search fo…
Measurements of the ion fraction and mobility of alpha and beta decay products in liquid xenon using EXO-200
J. B. Albert, D. J. Auty, P. S. Barbeau +82
Alpha decays in the EXO-200 detector are used to measure the fraction of charged and daughters created from alpha and beta decays, respectiv…
Investigation of radioactivity-induced backgrounds in EXO-200
J. B. Albert, D. J. Auty, P. S. Barbeau +83
The search for neutrinoless double-beta decay (0νββ) requires extremely low background and a good understanding of their sources and their influence on the rate in the region of pa…
