Final assessment of radioactive impurities in the JUNO detector
Thomas Adam, Fengpeng An, Costas Andreopoulos +569
The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) collaboration has completed the construction of the 20,000-ton liquid scintillator detector and the associated muon veto detect…
A Low-energy Threshold and Multi-messenger Trigger System for the JUNO Experiment
Thomas Adam, Fengpeng An, Costas Andreopoulos +563
The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) is a 20-kiloton liquid scintillator neutrino detector, located 650 meters (1800 m.w.e.) underground in Jiangmen, Guangdong, Chi…
Test of the JUNO 20-inch PMTs during Installation
Haojie Dong, Zhaoyuan Peng, Zhonghua Qin +13
Photomultiplier tubes (PMTs) are widely used in neutrino experiments. As a new-generation neutrino observatory, JUNO requires an excellent energy resolution of 3% at 1 MeV. This wi…
Embedded underwater front-end electronics for the 3-inch photomultipliers in the JUNO experiment
Cédric Cerna, Miao He, Xiaoshan Jiang +591
The Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) is a 20-kton liquid scintillator-based, low-radioactivity, multi-purpose neutrino detector located 693 meters (1800 m.w.e.) und…
Prospects for geoneutrino detection with JUNO
Thomas Adam, Shakeel Ahmad, Rizwan Ahmed +625
Geoneutrinos, which are antineutrinos emitted during the decay of long-lived radioactive elements inside Earth, serve as a unique tool for studying the composition and heat budget…
Simulation of the Background from CO Reaction in the JUNO Scintillator
JUNO Collaboration, Thomas Adam, Kai Adamowicz +627
Large-scale organic liquid scintillator detectors are highly efficient in the detection of MeV-scale electron antineutrinos. These signal events can be detected through inverse bet…
