No redshift evolution of non-repeating fast radio-burst rates
Tetsuya Hashimoto, Tomotsugu Goto, Alvina Y. L. On +6
Fast radio bursts (FRBs) are millisecond transients of unknown origin(s) occurring at cosmological distances. Here we, for the first time, show time-integrated-luminosity functions…
Fast radio bursts to be detected with the Square Kilometre Array
Tetsuya Hashimoto, Tomotsugu Goto, Alvina Y. L. On +6
Fast radio bursts (FRBs) are mysterious extragalactic radio signals. Revealing their origin is one of the central foci in modern astronomy. Previous studies suggest that occurrence…
Far-infrared star-formation rates of six GRB host galaxies with ALMA
Tiger Yu-Yang Hsiao, Tetsuya Hashimoto, Jia-Yuan Chang +7
Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRBs) can be a promising tracer of cosmic star-formation rate history (CSFRH). In order to reveal the CSFRH using GRBs, it is important to understand whether they…
What determines the maximum stellar surface density of galaxies?
Chih-Teng Ling, Tetsuya Hashimoto, Tomotsugu Goto +5
Observationally, it has been reported that the densest stellar system in the Universe does not exceed a maximum stellar surface density, = Mpc…
