Current-driven magnetization dynamics and their correlation with magnetization configurations in perpendicularly magnetized tunnel junctions
Kaiyuan Zhou, Lina Chen, Kequn Chi +9
We study spin-transfer-torque driven magnetization dynamics of a perpendicular magnetic tunnel junction (MTJ) nanopillar. Based on the combination of spin-torque ferromagnetic reso…
Spin-wave focusing induced skyrmion generation
Zhenyu Wang, Z. -X. Li, Ruifang Wang +4
We propose a new method to generate magnetic skyrmions through spin-wave focusing in chiral ferromagnets.A lens is constructed to focus spin waves by a curved interface between two…
Defect-Correlated Skyrmions and Controllable Generation in Perpendicularly Magnetized CoFeB Ultrathin Films
Haihong Yin, Xiangyu Zheng, Junlin Wang +13
Skyrmions have attracted significant interest due to their topological spin structures and fascinating physical features. The skyrmion phase arises in materials with Dzyaloshinskii…
Effect of Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction on magnetic vortex switching driven by radial spin waves
Zhenyu Wang, Yunshan Cao, Ruifang Wang +3
We theoretically investigate the radial-spin-wave induced magnetic vortex switching in the presence of Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction (DMI). From micromagnetic simulations, we o…
