KELT-25b and KELT-26b: A Hot Jupiter and a Substellar Companion Transiting Young A-stars Observed by TESS
Romy Rodríguez Martínez, B. Scott Gaudi, Joseph E. Rodriguez +89
We present the discoveries of KELT-25b (TIC 65412605, TOI-626.01) and KELT-26b (TIC 160708862, TOI-1337.01), two transiting companions orbiting relatively bright, early A-stars. Th…
MuSCAT2 multicolour validation of TESS candidates: an ultra-short-period substellar object around an M dwarf
H. Parviainen, E. Palle, M. R. Zapatero-Osorio +37
We report the discovery of TOI 263.01 (TIC 120916706), a transiting substellar object (R = 0.87 RJup) orbiting a faint M3.5~V dwarf (V=18.97) on a 0.56~d orbit. We set out to deter…
The Random Transiter -- EPIC 249706694/HD 139139
S. Rappaport, A. Vanderburg, M. H. Kristiansen +16
We have identified a star, EPIC 249706694 (HD 139139), that was observed during K2 Campaign 15 with the Kepler extended mission that appears to exhibit 28 transit-like events over…
Planetary system around the nearby M dwarf GJ 357 including a transiting, hot, Earth-sized planet optimal for atmospheric characterization
R. Luque, E. Pallé, D. Kossakowski +73
We report the detection of a transiting Earth-size planet around GJ 357, a nearby M2.5V star, using data from the Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS). GJ 357 b (TOI-562.01…
