CP-Violating Effect of QCD Vacuum in Quark Fragmentation
arXiv:hep-ph/9506412 · doi:10.1016/0370-2693(95)01329-6
Abstract
We demonstrate that the non-trivial CP-violating structure of QCD vacuum can lead to an observable effect in -jet annihilation. We find that the sign of the jet handedness correlation can be opposite to that predicted by factorization of fragmentation and CP-conjugation of the two jets. A simple model estimation of the handedness correlation magnitude is given.
