$D_{sJ}(2860)$ resonance and the $s_{\ell }^P={\frac{5}{2}}^{-}$ $c\bar{s}$ ($c\bar{q}$) doublet

Abstract

We analyze the recently discovered $D_{sJ}(2860)$ meson using arguments based on the heavy quark expansion together with the experimental observations. We consider the possible quantum number assignments, arguing that the interpretation of the meson as the $J^P=3^{-}$ $c\bar{s}$ state is favoured.
