Measurement of the $D^{\ast \pm }$ Cross Section using a Soft-Pion Analysis in Two-Photon Processes

Abstract

The differential cross section of $d\sigma (e^{+}{e}^{-}\to e^{+}{e}^{-}{D}^{\ast \pm }X)/d{P}_T$ was measured using a soft-pion analysis of $D^{\ast \pm }\to {\pi }_s^{\pm }{D}^0(\overline{D^0})$ at TRISTAN. The average $\sqrt{s}$ was 58.1 GeV and the integrated luminosity used in this analysis was 198 pb${}^{-1}$, respectively.
