High-resolution laser-induced fluorescence spectroscopy of SiO and SiO in a cryogenic buffer-gas cell
arXiv:2111.03832 · doi:10.1016/j.jms.2022.111582
Abstract
The electronic, laser-induced fluorescence spectrum of the transition in SiO and SiO has been recorded in a cryogenic buffer gas cell at 100 K. Molecular constants are extracted for both SiO and SiO, including the Fermi contact hyperfine constant for both the and states of SiO, and used in a discussion of the suitability of SiO in future quantum information experiments.
