Abstract

In the present work, we analyze the -wave singly-heavy baryon spectrum belonging to by combining the observations of the heavy baryon states, and restudy the strong decays of the wave states within the - coupling scheme using the chiral quark model. We obtain that: (i) the structure observed in the final state may arise from the overlapping of and . (ii) The broad structure observed in the final state may arise from the overlapping of and . (iii) The missing state is most likely to be a narrow state with a width of MeV, and mainly decays into channel.
