Penguin and rare decays in BaBar

Abstract

We present recent results from the \babar Collaboration on radiative decays. These include searches for new physics via measurements of several observables such as the time-dependent $CP$ asymmetry in $B^0\to K_S^0{\pi }^{-}{\pi }^{+}\gamma$ exclusive decays, as well as direct $CP$ asymmetries and branching fractions in $B\to X_s\gamma$ and $B\to X_s{\ell }^{+}{\ell }^{-}$ inclusive decays.
