Lecture Notes: Numerical Relativity in higher dimensional spacetimes
arXiv:1308.1686 · doi:10.1142/S0217751X13400174
Abstract
Black holes are among the most exciting phenomena predicted by General Relativity and play a key role in fundamental physics. Many interesting phenomena involve dynamical black hole configurations in the high curvature regime of gravity. In these lecture notes I will summarise the main numerical relativity techniques to explore highly dynamical phenomena, such as black hole collisions, in generic -dimensional spacetimes.
