Abstract

We have analyzed data of the DISTO experiment on the exclusive pp to K^+ Lambda p process at T_p = 2.85 $G e V t ose a r c h f or a K^{-} pp (= X) n u c l e a r b o u n d s t a t e t o b e f or m e d in t h e ppt o K^{+} + X r e a c t i o n . T h e d e v ia t i o n s p ec t r a o f t h e K^{+} mi ss in g - ma ss M M (K^{+}) an d L amb d a p in v a r ian t - ma ss M (L amb d a - p) w i t h se l ec t i o n o f l a r g e - an g l e p r o t o n e mi ss i o n r e v e a l e d a s t r u c t u r e w i t h M_{X} = 2265 + - 2 M e V / c 2 an d G amm a_{X} = 118 + - 8$ MeV.
