Tawa Pukllay Proof: New Method for Solving Arithmetic Operations with The Inca Yupana Using Pattern Recognition and Parallelism
Dhavit Prem, Fernando Sotomayor, Alvaro Saldívar +1
Yupana is an Inca device used for arithmetic operations. This article describes a new arithmetical system: Tawa Pukllay (TP), where arithmetic operations do not require mental calc…
Operation of a Modular 3D-Pixelated Liquid Argon Time-Projection Chamber in a Neutrino Beam
DUNE Collaboration, S. Abbaslu, A. Abed Abud +1318
The 2x2 Demonstrator, a prototype for the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) liquid argon (LAr) Near Detector, was exposed to the Neutrinos from the Main Injector (NuMI) n…
Spatial and Temporal Evaluations of the Liquid Argon Purity in ProtoDUNE-SP
DUNE Collaboration, S. Abbaslu, A. Abed Abud +1320
Liquid argon time projection chambers (LArTPCs) rely on highly pure argon to ensure that ionization electrons produced by charged particles reach readout arrays. ProtoDUNE Single-P…
Length-flexible strategies for efficient SERS performance in gold-nanorod-gapped nanoantennas
Sergio F. Flores-Correa, M. L. León Hilario, I. A. Ramos-Pérez +1
Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) using gold-nanorod-dimer nanoantennas has shown great potential in various applications. This reflects in their large values of the custo…
