Exciton diffusion in amorphous organic semiconductors: reducing simulation overheads with machine learning
Chayanit Wechwithayakhlung, Geoffrey R. Weal, Yu Kaneko +3
Simulations of exciton and charge hopping in amorphous organic materials involve numerous physical parameters. Each of these parameters must be computed from costly ab initio calcu…
All-optical nanoscale thermometry based on silicon-vacancy centers in detonation nanodiamonds
Masanori Fujiwara, Gaku Uchida, Izuru Ohki +5
Silicon-vacancy (SiV) centers in diamond are a promising candidate for all-optical nanoscale high-sensitivity thermometry because they have sufficient sensitivity to reach the subk…
Light and Slow-Neutron Diffraction by Nanodiamond-Dispersed Nanocomposite Holographic Gratings
Y. Tomita, A. Kageyama, Y. Iso +9
We demonstrate the use of nanodiamond in constructing holographic nanoparticle-polymer composite transmission gratings with large saturated refractive index modulation amplitudes a…
A Bayesian algorithm for retrosynthesis
Zhongliang Guo, Stephen Wu, Mitsuru Ohno +1
The identification of synthetic routes that end with a desired product has been an inherently time-consuming process that is largely dependent on expert knowledge regarding a limit…
