Non-vacuum relativistic extensions of MOND using metric theories of gravity with curvature-matter couplings and their applications to the accelerated expansion of the Universe without dark components
E. Barrientos, T. Bernal, S. Mendoza
We discuss the advantages of using metric theories of gravity with curvature-matter couplings in order to construct a relativistic generalisation of the simplest version of Modifie…
Dynamical Systems Analysis in Post-Friedmann Parametrizations of Modified Theories of Gravity
Abril Suárez, Ana Avilez, David Tamayo +2
We carry out a dynamical analysis of first order perturbations for Cold Dark Matter, Cold Dark Matter, and a couple of Modified Gravity models using the Parametrized Post-Fried…
On the Possibility that Ultra-Light Boson halos host and form Super-massive Black Holes
Ana Avilez-Lopez, Luis Padilla-Albores Luis, Tula Bernal-Marin +1
Several observations suggest the existence of super-massive black holes (SMBH) at the centers of giant galaxies. However the mechanism under which these objects form remains non co…
Energy Balance of a Bose Gas in Curved Spacetime
Tonatiuh Matos, Ana Avilez, Tula Bernal +1
Classical solutions of the Klein-Gordon (KG) equation are used in astrophysics to model galactic halos of scalar field dark matter and compact objects such as cores of neutron star…
