Artificial Intelligence Techniques for Next-Generation Mega Satellite Networks
Bassel Al Homssi, Kosta Dakic, Ke Wang +6
Space communications, particularly massive satellite networks, re-emerged as an appealing candidate for next generation networks due to major advances in space launching, electroni…
Two-Line Element Estimation Using Machine Learning
Rasit Abay, Sudantha Balage, Melrose Brown +1
Two-line elements are widely used for space operations to predict the orbit with a moderate accuracy for 2-3 days. Local optimization methods, such as the nonlinear least squares m…
Demonstrating Miniaturised, entangled photon-pair sources on board nano satellites to enable future QKD missions
Rakhitha C. M. R. B. Chandrasekara, Robert Bedington, Xueliang Bai +7
We report on our progress developing highly-miniaturised, polarisation-entangled, photon pair sources for CubeSats. We have a correlated photon-pair source in orbit in the NUS Gala…
The Australian Space Eye: studying the history of galaxy formation with a CubeSat
Anthony Horton, Lee Spitler, Naomi Mathers +15
The Australian Space Eye is a proposed astronomical telescope based on a 6U CubeSat platform. The Space Eye will exploit the low level of systematic errors achievable with a small…
