JWST Observations of SN 2023ixf II: The Panchromatic Evolution Between 250 and 720 Days After the Explosion
K. Medler, C. Ashall, P. Hoeflich +60
We present the nebular phase spectroscopic and photometric observations of the nearby hydrogen-rich core-collapse supernova (CC-SN) 2023ixf, obtained through our JWST programs. The…
JWST Observations of SN 2024ggi I: Interpretation and Model Comparison of the Type II Supernova 2024ggi at 55 days Past Explosion
E. Baron, C. Ashall, J. M. DerKacy +40
We present panchromatic 0.4-21 microns observations of the nearby (about 7.2 Mpc) Type II supernova 2024ggi, obtained during the plateau phase at about 55 d past explosion. Our dat…
High-cadence stellar variability studies of RR Lyrae stars with DECam: New multi-band templates
K. Baeza-Villagra, N. Rodriguez-Segovia, M. Catelan +6
We present the most extensive set to date of high-quality RR Lyrae light curve templates in the griz bands, based on time-series observations of the Dark Energy Camera Plane Survey…
Discovery of a New WZ Sagittae Type Cataclysmic Variable in the Kepler/K2 Data
R. Ridden-Harper, B. E. Tucker, P. Garnavich +7
We identify a new, bright transient in the Kepler/K2 Campaign 11 field. Its light curve rises over seven magnitudes in a day and then declines three magnitudes over a month before…
