Terahertz bandwidth integrated radio frequency spectrum analyzer via nonlinear optics
Marcello Ferrera, Christian Reimer, Alessia Pasquazi +7
We report an integrated all-optical radio frequency spectrum analyzer based on a ~ 4cm long doped silica glass waveguide, with a bandwidth greater than 2.5 THz. We use this device…
Novel architecture for ultra-stable micro-ring resonator based optical frequency combs
Alessia Pasquazi, Lucia Caspani, Marco Peccianti +8
We report a novel geometry for OPOs based on nonlinear microcavity resonators. This approach relies on a self-locked scheme that enables OPO emission without the need for thermal l…
Hydex waveguides for nonlinear optics
David J. Moss, Alessia Pasquazi, Marco Peccianti +6
We demonstrate a wide range of novel functions in integrated, CMOS compatible, devices. This platform has promise for telecommunications and on-chip WDM optical interconnects for c…
CMOS-compatible, multiplexed source of heralded photon pairs: towards integrated quantum combs
Christian Reimer, Lucia Caspani, Matteo Clerici +9
We report an integrated photon pair source based on a CMOS-compatible microring resonator that generates multiple, simultaneous, and independent photon pairs at different wavelengt…
