Merging Cluster Collaboration: A Panchromatic Atlas of Radio Relic Mergers
Nathan Golovich, William A. Dawson, David M. Wittman +13
Golovich et al. 2017b presents an optical imaging and spectroscopic survey of 29 radio relic merging galaxy clusters. In this paper, we study this survey to identify substructure a…
Merging Cluster Collaboration: Optical and Spectroscopic Survey of a Radio-Selected Sample of Twenty Nine Merging Galaxy Clusters
Nathan Golovich, William A. Dawson, David M. Wittman +11
Multi-band photometric and multi-object spectroscopic surveys of merging galaxy clusters allow for the characterization of the distributions of constituent dark matter and galaxy p…
MC^2: A deeper look at ZwCl 2341.1+0000 with Bayesian galaxy clustering and weak lensing analyses
Bryant Benson, David M. Wittman, Nathan Golovich +3
ZwCl 2341.1+0000, a merging galaxy cluster with disturbed X-ray morphology and widely separated (3 Mpc) double radio relics, was thought to be an extremely massive ($10-30 \t…
Shedding Light on the Matter of Abell 781
D. Wittman, William Dawson, Bryant Benson
The galaxy cluster Abell 781 West has been viewed as a challenge to weak gravitational lensing mass calibration, as Cook and dell'Antonio (2012) found that the weak lensing signal-…
