The ROSAT-ESO Flux Limited X-Ray (REFLEX) Galaxy Cluster Survey I: The Construction of the Cluster Sample
H. Boehringer, P. Schuecker, L. Guzzo +10
We describe the construction of an X-ray flux-limited sample of galaxy clusters, the REFLEX survey catalogue, to be used for cosmological studies. The survey is based on the ROSAT…
The ROSAT-ESO Flux-Limited X-Ray (REFLEX) Galaxy Cluster Survey III: The Power Spectrum
Peter Schuecker, Hans Boehringer, Luigi Guzzo +11
We present a measure of the power spectrum on scales from 15 to 800 Mpc/h using the ROSAT-ESO Flux-Limited X-Ray(REFLEX) galaxy cluster catalogue. The REFLEX survey provides a samp…
Optical follow-up of the REFLEX survey: a new perspective in cluster studies
L. T. Barone, E. Molinari, H. Boehringer +8
After the completion of the catalogue built with ESO key program (REFLEX), we are beginning to explore the multiband optical characteristics of a subsample of those clusters select…
The ROSAT-ESO Flux Limited X-ray (REFLEX) Galaxy Cluster Survey II: The Spatial Correlation Function
C. A. Collins, L. Guzzo, H. Boehringer +9
We report the results of the spatial two-point correlation function xi(r) for the new X-ray galaxy cluster survey REFLEX, which comprises of 452 X-ray selected clusters (449 with r…
