The Pan-Pacific Planet Search VII: The most eccentric planet orbiting a giant star
Robert A. Wittenmyer, M. I. Jones, Jonathan Horner +9
Radial velocity observations from three instruments reveal the presence of a 4 M_jup planet candidate orbiting the K giant HD 76920. HD 76920b has an orbital eccentricity of 0.856$…
A Herschel resolved debris disc around HD 105211
S. Hengst, J. P. Marshall, J. Horner +1
Debris discs are the dusty aftermath of planet formation processes around main-sequence stars. Analysis of these discs is often hampered by the absence of any meaningful constraint…
Modelling the Inner Debris Disc of HR 8799
B. Contro, J. Horner, R. A. Wittenmyer +2
In many ways, the HR 8799 planetary system strongly resembles our own. It features four giant planets and two debris belts, analogues to the Asteroid and Edgeworth-Kuiper belts. He…
A dynamical analysis of the proposed HU Aquarii planetary system
J. Horner, J. P. Marshall, Robert A. Wittenmyer +1
It has recently been suggested that the eclipsing polar HU Aquarii is host to at least two giant planets. We have performed highly detailed dynamical analysis of the orbits of thos…
