A Covariance-Based Hybrid Channel Feedback in FDD Massive MIMO Systems
Shuang Qiu, David Gesbert, Da Chen +1
In this paper, a novel covariance-based channel feedback mechanism is investigated for frequency division duplexing (FDD) massive multi-input multi-output (MIMO) systems. The conce…
Enabling Covariance-Based Feedback in Massive MIMO: A User Classification Approach
Shuang Qiu, David Gesbert, Tao Jiang
In this paper, we propose a novel channel feedback scheme for frequency division duplexing massive multi-input multi-output systems. The concept uses the notion of user statistical…
Beam Selection for MmWave Massive MIMO Systems Under Hybrid Transceiver Architecture
Qiu Shuang, Luo Kai, Jiang Tao
Hybrid analog/digital precoding is a promising technology to cut down hardware cost in massive multi-input multi-output (MIMO) systems at millimeter wave frequencies. In this lette…
Downlink Precoding with Mixed Statistical and Imperfect Instantaneous CSI for Massive MIMO Systems
Shuang Qiu, Da Chen, Daiming Qu +2
In this paper, the feasibility of a new downlink transmission mode in massive multi-input multi-output (MIMO) systems is investigated with two types of users, i.e., the users with…
