Functional central limit theorem for the interface of the multitype contact process
Thomas Mountford, Daniel Valesin
We study the interface of the multitype contact process on . In this process, each site of is either empty or occupied by an individual of one of two speci…
Improved asymptotic estimates for the contact process with stirring
Anna Levit, Daniel Valesin
We study the contact process with stirring on . In this process, particles occupy vertices of ; each particle dies with rate 1 and generates a new parti…
Extinction time for the contact process on general graphs
Bruno Schapira, Daniel Valesin
We consider the contact process on finite and connected graphs and study the behavior of the extinction time, that is, the amount of time that it takes for the infection to disappe…
Truncated long-range percolation on oriented graphs
Aernout C. D. van Enter, Bernardo N. B. de Lima, Daniel Valesin
We consider different problems within the general theme of long-range percolation on oriented graphs. Our aim is to settle the so-called truncation question, described as follows.…
Percolation on the stationary distributions of the voter model
Balazs Rath, Daniel Valesin
The voter model on is a particle system that serves as a rough model for changes of opinions among social agents or, alternatively, competition between biological sp…
